My Firelander temper was sparking nicely at that exact moment. Somehow, I resisted shooting a jet of flame at his backside. I stared straight at him in challenge. “Or what?”

“I will not hesitate to discipline you, it is my duty as your mate.”

“You what!” I screeched unable to prevent it from bursting out. The rules were not so different from what I had lived under before, but this was new, and I didn’t like it one bit. As long as I didn’t draw notice my aunt had let me do as I wished.

“I will put this in terms you might understand.” My eyes were on his firm lips. “You try to roast me, and I will not hesitate to heat that delectable backside as a very displeased mate.”

“Ha!” I scoffed in his face, my iron-clad control malfunctioning. “I’d like to see you try.”

When I realised that the world was not hiring for a ‘sarcastic but benign Supreme Ruler of the Universe’ I’ve decided to focus on my passion. By day I work in a UK company’s finance department and by night I become my alter ego Scribble Girl or as my good friends have affectionately dubbed me the ‘sex author’. I’m part of the Harry Potter generation and while waiting between books would literally devour any book I could get my hands on. Let’s put it this way J.K Rowling has a lot to answer for.
